How’s the bite been in the upper French? Water temp? Going to chaudiere lodge Sunday-Thursday. Targeting walleye. Will also be dabbling with pike and bass during the midday hours, would love to hit some of the big largies the French has been starting to get known for!!

I would say the Walley are still relatively shallow for the most part still.

Or maybe that's just me thinking I should be fishing shallow so I've been fishing shallow?

The majority of people I see out are sticking close to shore in 10-15 at least on Nip and lakes over this side.

Good luck your going to have a great time.

Nip was 68
