Sadly there has been two people drown on Sturgeon Lake. This just happened and in all sincerity, I don't want to offend anyone by posting this. This is very close to home for many of our members on the Kawartha Lakes board. Out of respect for the families, I don't think there is any reason to add any further details. Sturgeon Lake is like my back yard. A community of family, neighbours and friends, that care for each other. My sincere condolences to the families involved. If you are going out on the water, please stay safe.
