I was able to make it out the last couple of Saturdays and chase down Muskies. The opener I managed the smallest muskie I have ever caught 26". Yesterday the wind was a little too much for my electric so I anchored in a couple of places until lunchtime. I had a huge smallie take pot shots at 8" swimbait. I'm sure it is the same fish which has been nesting around the dock the last few years.
That fish is usually gone by opener. Did manage to troll for another hour and a half but did not see any muskie yesterday. Hopefully I will have more time this summer to get out more.
There were quite a few trees that came down on the property with the last storm. I think these pine trees were planted in the fifties when the cottage was built. Hope you all did better than I did. Stay safe out there.

Yes the tree clean up is still going on at many places. The sound of chainsaws, is an everyday occurance now. Fortunately I am done with all that now at the family home and neighbours in Cameron. Good luck next time you get out chasing the fish.
