Other than Ice fishing will probably not be on Nipissing again. it has been a great summer destination for me but unfortunately need to move on.

Will be doing Lake Erie charters where you can keep 6 walleyes regardless of size

Enjoy

Jack

Lake Nipissing and Zone 11 in particular have very restrictive catch and possession limits.

5 Brooke trout of which only one can be over 12 inches. You drive to Sudbury or Huntsville and you can keep 5 no matter there length.

Nipissing-only 2 walleye in a very narrow slot. But Natives can net to their heart's content and sell their catch to non-natives.

All bullshit.

Mismanaged just like the Moose pop.

Amen Limacharley. Had to laugh the other day when Doug Ford said to the FN's, quit coming to the table with your hat in hand waiting for handouts, do something on your own.

Sorry to hear you say that Antique.
I think you’ve been coming to Nip almost as long as I have.
But you’ll enjoy fishing Erie going forward as well.
We live and fish there most of the year. Multiple species. The perch, bass and walleye fishing is phenomenal. 6 fish walleye limit (as you mentioned). The muskie fishing is gaining a real foothold in many areas.
But with that said, I’d really miss my trips north to Nipissing, as I’m sure you will as well. Different type of fishing on Nipissing. Different structure to fish and…totally different scenery.
Good luck on Erie Antique. Hope to see you post on some of the fishing boards down there as well
