It was raining hard but we had a trip planned for the afternoon so I installed the Bimini top again and we just hunkered down in the back trying to stay dry.
Got to the launch and the skies opened up with buckets of rain so we got back in car pulled back out and waited for 30 min for it to calm down.
Then we just trolled around for a couple of hours dead lining a big pearl spoon with three red dots with 3/4 O weight on the line.
Rod went boom and a long fight started on 8lb line. It was *&#*$ show but we got it in.
A quick pic, no measurement taken and then I gave her a good minute to recover and off she went looking good.
