Oh I wish I had good reports. I am busy paying my Dues this year it seems. I have never been skunked rigging lake O before. The last two times out not even a hit. However all my lures are now washed. ?

I was out Saturday morning, landed one about 14 lb and lost another a bit bigger by the boat screwing around trying to make room and reach for stuff lol. It took me a while to remember where I place everything in the boat! Took both in around 80 fow 10 feet off bottom on an artificial meat set up. 52 degrees on top not sure what it was down below. Just the two hits and that was it. Marking lots of bait and fish but they just don’t want to cooperate yet. There’s a few starting to show up now but definitely a late start. We were spoiled last June for sure….I guess it doesn’t help that the lake has been a washing machine lately! Hopefully things get going with the derby starting at the end of the week!

Good reports everyone. I was wondering how the fishing was going down there too.

Hi everyone,

We went out of Bronte with the team from Myles Ahead Sportfishing. Everyone on the dock and even our crew was saying how hard the fishing was.

But after dozens of lure / combination changes, we found a few.

Awesome day.

Ryan

Nice fish there

this has been a very sporadic bite this year to date and it has been cooler than normal and a lot of north east winds.....still the fish have to be somewhere and go on the feed

as for tournaments, there have been several in my area since April and the bigger ones are due to come shortly.

still nice to get out on the water, but nowhere what it was like last year

I think I semi retired at the right time

Just grabbed my derby ticket this afternoon and looking forward to hopefully getting out this weekend. Strange thing from what I hear is the fishing is the same state side. They’re out there though. Maybe they’re hiding out deep until the lake sets up a little more. Pc pen derby big fish was almost 30 lbs hopefully a good sign for things to come.
