Finally everything lined up to get out after some Great Lakes Walleye. The weather was perfect and the bite was steady. We had 4 rods out 3 with worm harness and 1 flat line with deep crank bait which caught 2 sheep and a big Walleye which was lost right at the boat. We trolled in 55-60 FOW. Sure was nice to get out and catch some dinner. All other Walleye were caught on dipsey harness. I’m sure Longshank will add some more details.

It's been a long wait, but so happy to finally get out on a perfect day for fishing with my good pal
took a while to locate some active fish and when we did, the bite was pretty steady....lost a few and had a few more just grab and strip the worms off I know not how..did not matter to us as we had a blast
couple of errors made such as me forgetting the worms in my truck,,,,,,so had to drive and get some more after we launched the boat never gonna hear the end of that one lol
And of course I blew a netting job with Steve's biggest walleye Oh he was upset for a while, but I had a good defense
In the end it just did not matter as the time on the ewater was just awesome.........packed it in just before the rains began and was home by 2 pm..........nice and a first
just finished filleting my catch and going to have a great dinner tonight
biggest was 27 or so and rest were just quality eaters......trick was to go very slow and into the current yesterday. also shocked to see such few boats out there on such a great day
