Haven't had achance to do much fishing the last couple of years.

In 2023, my tow vehicle went belly up. Dealers had no new inventory and I had to wait 2.5 months for my order to come in.

Last year my motor quit and it was 6 weeks before my marine mechanic could fix it.

Combine that with wind & rain and I"m an "old fart". I don't fish when the wind is above 15kph, I don't fish in the rain and don't go out on my own at my age, so everything has to fit with my fishing buddy.

OK--here we are in 2025.

Tow vehicle is working fine, boat motor is working fine, my fishing buddy is not busy, no rain and light winds forecast for Friday.

So, our plan is to hit Meaford on Friday, so keep an eye out for the 16ft Legend with the big green landing net stuck up.

Wave and say hello.

SDC.

Everything still in alignment--so it is on in the morning.

We aren't early risers at our ages, so we won't be on the water until about 8:30am.

Checked my fishing logs from prior years for this time of year and I know what lure I shall be starting with and the depth to run it at.

SDC

PS--Longfish--Arnie, if you are posting resuults of your Owen Sound trip today, what depths? What lures.

Thanks

Ralph
