Happy anniversary Arnie, and to your wife as well. Nothing wrong with those photos. That mother duck was just teaching the babies to be self reliant. Won't be long before they are off on their own. Hope your breakfast was good.
Thx Jamie....but with my other cameras I can get tighter and clearer shots. I am spoiled so the cell pics bug me. lol.
Thank you for the well wishes....I will pass them on to Susan.

What a beautiful set of pics. Nature at its best. So serene. Stealth works in these cases for sure. Congrats to you both on 54 yrs of marriage. On this day & age, it's impressive. I have to wait till next yr for me 54th. Being 78 yrs old in a few months my balance isn't what is used to be or I'd entertain getting a kayak too. You can get to a lot of places a regular fishing boat can't, and it's certainly more peace & quiet. Great post.

Thx Fozzy....yup I am 76 and therefore but a good stable Hobie Kayak and just love what I can do in it. It does need a 50mm canon mounted on the front for those ignorant boaters that look straight forward when they pass as close as 30 feet away in a marked tight channel. No time to react to 3 ft wake.
I do have a flare gun onboard....hmmmmm maybe a signal across their bow.

Why a 'flare gun'?...haha. I can think more suitable,,,lol.
When I was growing up, my dad taught me to always slow down to a troll speed when other fisherman. If I didn't slowdown enough, I got told pretty quick. Today, that unheard of. If I did that in and around Honey Harbour, I'd be rear-ended by a 30fter heading out to GB. It might be the way it is now, but you don't have to like it. (and I don't)
Keep the kayak stories coming, as if I can't do it, it's nice reading about someone who can.
