I was heading down our channel in the kayak the other day and came upon a youg family of swans. I love the kayak for its silence and ability to get close to wildlife. Did not have my pro cameras but the cell phone did pretty good.

Headed further out to the bay, around that corner ahead.

This Osprey was sitting in a tree along the shoreline but he flew on me and I got this fuzzy shot.

I also saw a foot diameter turtle. It was not a Snapper and had yellow on it. To big for a painted turtle and I saw no orange. Not sure how big a Blanchard turtle gets. He swam under the kayak and I got no shot.

A typical day in Waubaushene from the kayak.

I almost forgot this was on the morning of my 54th wedding anniversary. Who says you can’t go fishing on your anniversary. I went fishing on my honeymoon 54 years ago. Lol.

Yes I did take her out for dinner to Midlands Boatworks Eatery. Including the live music stage front.

Happy anniversary Arnie, and to your wife as well. Nothing wrong with those photos. That mother duck was just teaching the babies to be self reliant. Won't be long before they are off on their own. Hope your breakfast was good.
