July 22nd 6-7:30.
It was a glass calm evening so instead of heading half way to the island to find 20ft we decided do look for some nip pike in the bays around the mouth of Callander on the main lake side.
This first one took more than a few runs and put up my best fight of the season so far, the second one came when I was packing up (Last cast) and both hit on a big Williams.
My next present to myself is a bigger net even though my wife did an awesome job netting both, the first one just didn't fit. And something to measure fish.
