with the new bait regulations in place has or will the cost of bait go up an will the bait supply meat the demand this year

Not too sure how to answer that.........

I have never seen prices go down though.

You can take your own bait up though if you desire.......120 each

read the regs carefully........there are so many silly gaps in them.

Hi This is what I was told today. That they have tested the shiners caught in the fall at some of the commercical ponds to see if they are V'S disease free. If they are clean they will be allowed ship up here for sale. The results are supposed to be ready next week. One bait dealer told me he has been stocking up on chubs, but not enough for the whole winter. I guess we have to wait longer.
