I set out with the goal of targeting true giants and ended up landing five trophy walleye over 30 inches, with the biggest stretching an unbelievable 32 inches. These weren’t just random catches but the result of grinding it out, focusing on the right structures, and staying patient until the moment finally came together.

Holy smokes, big, big walleye. Where I fish in the Kawarthas, my 31.5 inch walleye is probably the biggest my eyes will ever see there. As for you, it seems an Ontario record may be out there for you to catch someday. Those walleye must be eating whatever they see. Going out later after dinner, don't think I will see anything like those walleye tonight. Just need a couple of fish for the BBQ. Maybe your next video will have a 33 or 34 only time will tell.

Thanks crappeeemaann, the great lakes walleye are just built different, so much forage for them to feed on and grow those shoulders. A 31.5” walleye in the kawarthas is an absolute beast!!! I can only dream of catching the Ontario record. It is a goal of mine every time I go out on water capable of producing such a giant. Its crazy to think I will likely go my whole life targeting these giants and STILL probably wont break the record!! But I always go in with positivity and confidence so we will see!!
