Kind of depends on how many are in your group. If you are a single person or pair, bungalow rentals are few and far between and are most likely booked already, you may get lucky with a mid week rental but that's it. Otherwise operators want full occupancy or increased rates if you don't meet that and they are usually 4, 6 or 8 man. Even cottage/day hut operators want a minimum of 4. Again weekends are probably booked. Usually early season is best for walleye numbers but you do get the random hot streaks through the season. They are on your screen but have lockjaw and won't commit for a lot of the mid season. As for burbot I have been fishing nip for 20 years and never caught one but my buddy brought one up one night and it was huge. I think they are tough to target as the mud puppies get in the way. Have got plenty of those over the years. Hope this helps
