Nice. The old man did better than the young fella though
I tried a small lake with stocked brookies yesterday near Haliburton. Had one fast moving fish interested in my presentation, but I set the hook too early and too aggressively to see it swimming away and not coming back...

Thanks guys for the comments . My son loves trout fishing i think i converted him couple years back all he talks about is brook trout i have made him a book of 15 years of my lakes i fish and still fill in every trip and tackle i use that i will pass on to him when i can no longer do the backlakes that will keep him busy chasing brookies. He has atv to access the lakes now but he does not have snowmachine. He needs to learn the network of trails and he is set for a lifetime of trout fishing after i no longer can go.
