With some ice out, there was a dingy on Chemong in the sanctuary, as most of the lake still has some ice.

Not sure if people realize or care, but both sides of the causeway are sanctuary and no fishing.

Frustrating to see people can’t bother to read regs or follow them

It was a reminder to others who fish Chemong the causeway is a sanctuary, and it’s currently the only part with water. I’m sure by tomorrow or Monday it’ll all be water though.

Good post, no excuse for not knowing the regulations. For those that can't see the picture, you should become a member. Great people on this Fishing Forum, willing to answer questions and offer friendly, good advice. In the end it's up to the angler to know the regulations fully. Knowledge is everything, at lack of knowledge won't get you out of a fine. Saying... I didn't know that, does not work when you get caught breaking the regulations.
