Lake condition, Lots of rain

Been reading the north has been receiving a lot of rain, how is the lake and surrounding area looking?

The lake level is up 24" in 5 days Monday - Saturday (my math says that's 140.6 billion gallons of water) and the main inflows (Sturgeon 430cm/s, Veuve 250cm/s, South River 150cm/s) are still higher than the French River outflow (600cm/s). The level is currently in the summer navigation range and rising. A flood watch has been issued for North Bay and Callander. Public Services and Procurment Canada are saying that conditions in the coming weeks will be comparible to 2019 levels which caused a lot of damage.

I had read the April precipitation levels were at 174% of the average before the rain Thursday and Saturday.

Ice in South Bay south of Beacon Island is melting around the edges and starting to break up with different wind directions. Colder temps the next couple days will slow that down a little.

Tuesday was very bad, heavy rain which melted most of the snow that was left very quickly causing some flooding in North Bay.

I went for a drive up the 63 and checked out a couple of spots which were still covered. By how much I don't know.

Another week at least for the ponds probably and the rivers were blow out and topping the banks in places.

Might as well work this week.

I haven't been to the lake yet. I imagine it's bad. The French is in a state of emergency as the worst is yet to come for them.
I read Nip is rising 10cm a day.

There's 17 different roads closed in Sudbury. Folks built where they are now in '88. It's waterfront - I've never seen it this high, and there's still snowmelt left.

"summer navigation range" has a nice ring to it though
