We are going to Brennan Harbour the last week in June. It's our first time. Will be targeting bass, walleye and pike. I assume walleye will be out of the river and relating to structure around islands in the channel. Bass will likely be in the same areas? I would greatly appreciate any general advise that may help us narrow down our search. It's big water. Thanks

I think you has it right, the Walleye will mostly be out of the river and relocating to their regular haunts. Around islands and shoals are always a good bet. On the Spanish River, we have found the 'old standby' "a jig and minnow" are hard to beat early on.
There is a good bait place for minnow about 5 mins south of Spanish

We fished mostly for Walleye, but caught all species. Early in the season (June) live bait (minnows) worked best, although we caught Walleye on worm harnesses too.
