Random Question - Address for Cottage?, Looking for help

Hey Everyone,

Taking a shot in the dark, looking for direction from someone who has tried this in the past.

My family's cottage near the south shore has never had an address. I know you can get a 911 or civic address, but I'm not sure where to get that from. From old documents I have seen it referred to being listed on survey maps as "Parcel 3854, Concession 17, lot 49."

It is located in the unincorporated township of Patterson.

With all of this, I don't know who to contact to try to get an "address".

I'm not looking to receive mail, or find it listed on google maps, but this has standing with ownership documentation.

Anyone have a suggestion? Sorry for being off topic, but this community is the best place I could find to get started.

Thanks, it being an unincorporated township means I don't know who to start my question with. Maybe the nearest incorporated township (Nipissing Township) is where I start.

Well if you're paying land taxes, that's the place I'd call to start with.

Patterson Township is part of Parry Sound District. I wonder if Parry Sound can help?

Unfortunately it doesn't look good "Hi Robert and thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately I cannot help here as we are only doing Lount township. This is really a private initiative so not sure who is running it in your township."

A lawyer I have been in contact with says they can find it out for me when doing other paperwork associated with the project... hopefully not at lawyer rates.
