Meet up with my brother again and the two of us headed North Sunday morning to try somewhere new.

The day started out nice but then turned Cold and windy with small rain showers followed by some warm spells only to repeat over and over.

A few hits but only one decent fish and overall slow but better than not going.

We only saw one other person all day, we were having a break on an island when he Boated over to have a chat.
He opened up his live well and pulls out a monster rainbow, salmon size fills his big net monster.

He tells us it came from another lake down the road.
Why would you leave a lake when your got a fish like that?
And the timing from when we arrived at the lake (his trailer already there) to when we meet way at the very top of the lake didn't line up either.

Not many pictures on this trip but everything was being marked deep still and the weather was what it was.

Weird rainbow story… I believe it’s illegal if that fish was still alive and came from another lake in the livewell. Anyway, nice report, and congrats on the splake.

still a nice day to be out fishing...

that rainbow story from the other guy does sound off somewhat. never know what's hitchhiking in a livewell from one lake to another
