We got out for our first couple of hours on nip last night, Water was 52 were we were but the lake is up a few feet so things changed a lot and were they would usually be stacked this time of year they were not.

We still managed 3 smaller Walters and 1 perch. No live bait — just running worm harness setups and switching over to a 2" floating Rapala.

The amount of floating wood out there right now turns the lake into an obstacle course. We were able to pull a few large pieces out of the water and came back looking like a mini garbage barge.

What should be 15ft was 18ft and the boat launch was 100% underwater at Champlain.

And my electric start is dead so pull start and giver! I'm hoping it's just a fuse.
