Top 3 Kawartha Lakes for Fishing, Walleye and Panfish

Looking to uproot from Rice Lake but would like to stay in the Kawartha's. What are your suggestions for top 3 Kawartha Lakes for Walleye and Panfish?
If you have resort suggestions, please add them too.

Rice, Sturgeon, and Chemong are my top 3. For resort it's hard to say. Depends on your expectation. The top one I will give to Sturgeon. You don't need to drive around to find the walleyes. Just looking for weeds and structures. The only concern is the stumps.

I am partial to Stoney Lake. It has a variation of traditional Kawartha type weed fishing for Walleye but also offers deep water shoals. Have a look at Pine Vista Resort. Also an absolutely beautiful lake to spend some time.

I was out last fall from Bobcaygeon but didn’t do well.

Not really. But Goose bay holds more largies than smallies. On the other hand, the two arms connect to Bobcaygeon and Fenelon falls are good for smallies. No need to go deep but find some rocky areas combined with weed. Personally I prefer the arm connect to Bobcaygeon. Almost forget walleye fishing. Stay in goose bay, you may catch more walleye.
