Haven’t posted in a while, but so far in July/August have got out fishing a few times: Weekend camping trip I found some largies, a few day trips in the boat found lakers a couple times and walleye another time, hike-in day trip with the little guy for stocked brookies, and recently a day trip with ATV and canoe rack found some chunky walleye in a tiny back lake.

Probably can’t tell, but this is a little fawn swimming across a very large open bay, on a big lake. I thought we were going to rescue it, but it really had no problem swimming, and I was totally shocked at how fast it was going with those four spindly little legs

A real class act at the boat launch. Actually doing a photo shoot of the lady, with a cooler, picnic and a bottle of wine going. Yes, the truck IS in fact sideways across an active launch ramp.
