It was an excellent week away from work last week as I travelled to our northern Ontario destination for a week of R&R with the kids, grandkids and grandpuppies. Mostly sunny and warm with a few hours of rain. Water temps perfect for swimming at 72f. We managed to land/release 11 different species of fish and not intentionally. In no specific order: rock bass, smallmouth bass, pumpkinseed, bluegill, walleye, long nose gar, cisco, lake trout, northern pike, perch & whitefish. My 7 year old grandson caught a few smallies over 4lbs from the dock! I didn't catch one over 4lbs until I was in my twenties lol. Price of gas for the boat = $2.50 litre. A week away with this group = priceless!!
