My friend Phil anf I are going to give Collingwood another go tomorrow.

So, if you see the 16ft Legend and the big green landing net stuck up, wave and say hello.

At our ages, we won't be on the water until around 9am

Air quality supposed to be 10+ again tomorrow so going to stay inside as much as I can. I will be smoking some brisket and staying in side.

Good Luck Ralph

Right, at our age we are better off staying inside till the wild fire smoke clears the area. Good luck if you make it out this morning!

By the way, with the heavy smoke outside,we could probably just hang our fish outdoors to get a nice smoky flavor! LOL……..

I agree about the smoke. I doing half a brisket today and I think I wasted the pucks as could have just let the outdoors do it for me. I couldn't tell I was smoking anything when standing beside the smoker.

I have been close to your neck of the woods since Tuesday at the Caesars Casino Windsor. Smoke show to say the least and brutally hot. Very hard to see Detroit across the river, more than a few times. These pictures are from Tuesday until this morning. It's going to be a bit better tomorrow...maybe. It was very nice to be inside the Casino, with cold filtered air conditioning.

Hey sdcaller,
Are there many boats your size on Georgian Bay? I've been fishing Simcoe for years and just moved to Wasaga. I was assuming my 15' Smokercraft needed smaller water.
