Hey me and my dad are planning to go out tomorrow for some pike....where is the best place to go on the lake? We are kind of new to fishing and never fished the lake....and how much ice is out there? Thanks

was out there today with a buddy very slow day dident get anything i drilled about 8 holes theres plenty of ice. i was fishing next to a hut and they had to snowmobiles with it and the ice is pretty thick i dont with this warm weather coming if it will go down. cheers rob

also if your looking for a place to park there is two marinas one is right as you turn right u will see it and then theres another one down the road and there is parking they are both closed in the winter and the one sells minnows but only in the summer the closest place to get minnows is in barrie.
