Just when you think the ice gods are with you
Mother Nature throws you a curve ball
Lets hope the weather gets cold real quick, I'm sure the lake is a mess.
Everyone please be careful out there.
Cheers,
H20

ahh just got off the lake, She is still in great condition out from Beaverton anyways... no slush at all yet... if it rains the next couple of days she may turn a little slushy but all in all she will be fine... Its really really rough out in the Whitey grounds out this way anyhow and this rain will flatten it out a bit and freeze again on Thursday....

tight lines

havent been out that far yet Bob... heard some reports of 5-7 inches out by Whites shoal...as well as 6 inches to the north side of Georgina with guys catchin trout already... its really really rough tho from when she froze with that wind its really chunky, inbetween Thorah and Georgina anyways the rest of the lake such as off Willow, Innisfil or Oro is pretty smooth going.. hope this helps... I will venture out to the shoal this weekend after the cold spell returns..

i also hear people are fishin off Willow on 6 inches of ice but its slow goin and hardly even markin any on bottom.

I used to live in Port Bolster. I went off the lake right there if with my bike, sled, or argo. When there was enough ice we used to go out JP, willow or Island Grove with the truck. Travelled the whole lake following the fish.
