Well seeing as it was a beautiful day to be outdoors, I meet up with npeterson and hubby for an afternoon of steelheading. We arrived at the local ditch at 1pm and walked a short distance in the woods to the creek. Water was up about 2ft and it was quite murky, with about 6" visibility. I tried large roe bags in pink and chartreuse, with no luck. I also tried high vis. pink and orange worms, still no bites, no looks, no sniffs, no nothing. Talked with a few guys out there as well, and same results, nobody caught or had any fish. O well, it was still a great day to be outdoors, with good company and good times as always. I can't believe it's mid-January as we saw many golfers out having a great day as well..
