had a few people pm me and I know everyone is ansy to go after chrome this weekend with the high temps and loss of ice. So, latest river conditions are.. as of 11 am today river has 12 -15 inches of clarity. it got punched out on Wed. after the high SW and west winds. Guys down this morning got some fish, but not on fire. if going to whirlpool, it's a challenging hike back up.....believe me. best baits right now.streamers.......smelt imitiation. 4 inches or longer .have to have some blue/black/purple and white in them. Polar bear hair is best , but pricey. I had 2 trips shceduled fo weekend , but called them off due to water clarity. Might have been premature, but have to make the call when folks want it called. Good luck to any heading out.

Thanks for the info Shank! I'll be there in the AM. I'll give it a go for a few hours. Not a lot of visibility but I'll cross my fingers. Cheers!

Got up early and loaded the truck to hit the Lower river this morning. Had some minor vehicle issues, so I turned around. The only thing that sucks more than truck problems, is no fishing because of truck problems! Oh we'll, it's all good now. Maybe tomorrow. Cheers!

Sorry to hear about that Mark. Good luck if you make it out tomorrow. We are going to try our local creek here and see what happens today.
