I refuse to fish in Barrie anymore.

Every time I am there and I catch a fish people fish 2 ft from me and then tangle in my line and look at me, like it is my fault.

I have no problem telling them to leave, but they have no respect (no everyone but a lot of people).

Also, if you look at report's the water quality in the Barrie Harbour is pretty much comparable to what it is in Lake Ontario around the docks.

Although it does not look the same, the particulate levels and e-coli level's are quite high.

Think of all the gas that leaks into the water from the boats....

Not what I want to be putting in my body as Perch are bottom feeders commonly.

As you move away from the marina the water quality is 100 x better....

If you are eating these fish directly from the marina, limit your eating...
