I would like to see proof that they where charged 1500 dollars each not sure i believe the report I could be wrong but the town say a total of 1500.00 for rescue if 7 of them rescued divided up between them. The guys that where rescued last year each received a bill of 300 dollars that I know to be a fact as I met a guy the was on the ice that broke up like I said could be wrong

Hmmm... I was told before that the first rescue is free.. The second rescue you pay the total cost and lose your fishing rights in Ontario for 1 year... Not sure tho... Someone told me that.

I have to agree with Lucky Luke. All the whining is just annoying. People make mistakes. Besides your tax dollars already pay for the rescue service anyway. At least here in the states they do!
