Lake O !, Not my fav. spot but the fish where in!

Beautiful day today in the east end . Was going too start the morning off further east in Port Hope but got the word that it was blown ... Jigs were the big ticket for today . Water levels were up a touch bur cleared super fast threw out the day !

BoB we will try again too meet and hopefully its out on the hardwater season .


Fish were on fire all day . Morning bite untill 12 was good . Slowed down from 12 - 2 then picked up again !

Went 4 for 6 . My buddie 7-1o.

Great pics Fishsniffer. I never would of thought to use jigs for river fishing. Very cool.

I had a feeling our creek was a bust, from the look on the faces of the other anglers out there.. But I didn't want to drive around.. Getting lazy with age..

Bead headed flies I tied myself and tubes were the ticket and some other trick that I can not reveal on here . Bob had a little sniff of it over the phone the night before ... Loll .

As for where the bite is and water conditions I usally speak with all the local guys before heading out .... Everywhere else was blown that day except there.

Awesome day out but.... I still miss my Northern rivers.
