I have a Jiffy model 30 and I run it in AMSOIL Saber. I run it at 100:1 check that stuff out!! No smoke at all
at 100:1 i would not expect smoke.
i have 2 other machines that run the same motor as my jiffy 30. one is 24:1, one is 32:1 and one is 40:1. i cant see it making a difference that much. if your really concerned, jiffy has an oil bottle made for 1 gallon. usually good for a season (or 3 the way things are going) i run ams synthetic in everything 2 stroke i own

I've never seen a 2 stroke burn out from being too rich. Start at 32:1 and if it fouls plugs, move to 40:1
I would not recommend anything leaner than 50:1 in the winter. No matter what oil you use. No point burning up a motor for the minimum gain you get at 100:1.
