So , last year Jan. 22 had my hut out and there was 9 " of ice . Not try to sound sad but if the cold weather comes soon may have it out by Feb. 1 hope. So floks with huts that stay out all winter how did you do last year? Don't worry it will come soon and when it happens it will.

I lost hope on the wooden hut going out this year . I have it sitting on the drive way in the trailer . Not a long enough season to drag it out there this time out the year the way the weather is playing out.
I hate to say it but it seems like a repeat of last year so far. Grew up on Simcoe since I was a kid and never seen the hard water season suffer this bad. Snowmobile industry is even worse. Funny thing is on the radio this morning I here go snowmobiling Ontario . Where is all the snow and groomers? Grass is still green on my front lawn . I was going to re-seed it again .....
Any how looks like portable hut it is this year for the rest of the season .

15yrs ago I drove a groomer for carden snowdrifters out in Lake Dalrymple snow was good back then it was cold like -20s at night, back in the day you were not cool guy if you did not have sled, but now I would not give you 10$ for one now. The weather is crazy I had portable hut but had traded it for trolling motor for the canoe oh well in the next few years the way things are looking summer my be all year round
