Hey sniperlee I think I am okay because the Regulations state that you don't have to register a Hut made of cloth type material unless it is over 75 square feet and my hut being 6 x 12 is only 72 square feet....Yeah for you younger people this Old Fart doesn't use the Metric System. LOL. I think the camera angle makes it look bigger...Same size as the Clam Command Post.
Thanks robbyc, I bought a Big Buddy Heater to do the job of heating it. Now I just need some Ice to use it or a Road Trip will be in the works to go up North.
Thanks Trekker....Isn't Global Warming Wonderful. LOL. Good Luck to You and Everybody....Play Safe and Play Smart.

Thank You for the Welcome Jerry. I have been thinking of getting a Pop Up Shelter for a couple of years and after doing plenty of research and pricing I found this Brand. Even in the States I have never seen Equinox before anywhere. I do think they are new on the market and originated in Western Canada and they are slowly getting into Ontario. Even though they are made in China the quality isn't lacking at all and yes the price is excellent and below market price for other Shelters....Like everything else that could change once their foot is in the door so to speak. I have seen them selling new on Kijiji also....Seller I saw was in Welland Ont.
codyboy Thanks....I will have room to sleep walk. LOL.

Thank You for the welcome Mr.Ball. I said earlier I wish I had found this Forum earlier and yes it is fantastic and I have wasted time on other Forums that can't hold a candle to this one...Wish I had found this Forum years ago....I might have been a better fisherman then I am now.
Almost nothing worse then being packed into an ice hut like sardines in a can. Most likely there will only be 4 of us sometimes in the hut, so that still gives everybody space to stretch in that hut.

the bonus of buying it at costco is the 2 year warranty incase you do snap a pole. I have the older blue one from costco and love it.
I would recommend getting the big buddy heater as its a large space to heat up with the little one. I'm actually thinking about getting the smaller 2-3 man popup from costco, listed at 180 shipped and i think its 159 if you goto one that carrys them. I had to goto barrie to get my 6 man.
If its windy make sure you tie down the middle pulls or they can be pushed in by the wind and it has a chance of collapsing on you. hasn't happened yet, but I did have one end blow in against my back, so i went out and tied everything down. I'm guessing the winds were around 15+mph

Thanks for the tips JamesG...This is my first Pop Up Hut and I have done tons of research before I bought and know with the size of this Hut I will most likely have to use all the tie downs and not get away with using just one like you can with a smaller Hut.
I did buy a Big Buddy Heater and I lucked out because they are on Sale this week for 119 Bucks at TSC.....I saved about 230 Bucks. This winter has been good to me except for no ice to use my new stuff yet. LOL.
