slab grabber with small minnow is my favorite setup

I tried a custom jigs & spins slender spoon for the first time 2 weeks ago -my only time out. Tipped with a minnow head or red jensen egg. Caught most of my fish on it but when I get a good pattern going I don't switch it up. i've had good success with many small silver/gold/fire tiger spoons in the 1-2 inch size, with a treble or single hook/jig on a dropper. i've never done well with jack spoons unless I am in shallow water.

salt pork works good,, put on a jigging rap or simcoe bug

ill have to give that salted pork a try i guess it would make it harder to pull off the hook...
