Hi...
I was just at various spots on this side of the lake (see my post IPB)
There were people fishing at Gilford, maybe 12 to 15 or so... I did not check the ice thickness myself but I did walk out a bit and it seemed pretty solid. I do however recomend that you always check the ice for yourself and don't just take my word for it, as I did not cut a hole at Gilford.
Lefroy is still at this point un-safe, as well as all points north of Lefroy. Yesterday these areas were still open water, so it is just a skim of ice right now.
I will be keeping an eye on the Lefroy ice as well as points north as far as the Innisfil Beach Park and I will post the results here and on the Cooks Bay Outfitters Forum which you can access via cooksbayoutfitters.com web site.
