Went out again today! Excellent adventure! Fish were on from first bite till 12 30 for me! Ended up with 40 and my buddy had 37. Good average size with almost all bites coming on slab grabbers! Hot bead color was white! Only had to drill 2 holes all day!
Pics coming!
Cheers

Was also out on BP today. Casey hooked me up with lots of minnows. The bit was none stop from 8am to 4pm. 1 keeper for every 10 fish but I think we hooked into 300plus perch between the two of us. Dead stick didn't work. They like the wiggle and tease. Used a bell sinker and two hooks off the line... Old school ... Old faithful I like to call it. The herrings are getting bigger! My hands smells like sardines! Going to let the wind die down a bit and head out on Monday.

Wind blew all the snow away. Was difficult to walk in and was too cold to put on spikes. Bring your spikes if heading out tomorrow. It was 2 steps forward and 1.5 steps backwards.

Herrings were released... Really don't like having to say it but people always reads things the wrong way and assume everyone else don't know the regulations.

On the other tread someone mention that operators out on BP cancelled for the weekend... Not true. Casey is running for sure for sure! I told them I was going to clear that up on the forum.

Hi

Does Casey's sell spikes? Tried a few CT store today with no luck. Heading up there tomorrow but don't want to be blown back to shore or face planting from pulling gear
