Decided I wasn't battling the waves of city slickers for a little yellow perch. Packed the sled and headed to a little honey hole that I choose not to disclose. Needless to say we were the only fishermen out there and boy was it peaceful. Three splake iced and also my PB splake a healthy 4 lbs hog. Enjoy!

I'm glad I'm a shift worker and off during the week so I don't have to compete with the migration north for fishing.....

Keep in mind your not alone. At the bait shop where we stopped to get minnows we were interrogated by other fisherman on where our location is. I keep honey holes like this one secret. Take the co ordinates with me to the grave!

Too bad NUFEE, I zoomed in and got the co ordinates of your ice machine sitting at the hole. I not only now know what lake to go to but exactly where the hole is.
