I and my 2 partners in crime where out yesterday. Morning was good. Light bite and most fish where 6 to 7 inchers. Hard pressed to get anything over 8. We managed 15 keepers! Herring where swimming around all day. Afternoon was slow. But all in all a good first trip of the year

nice to see the pic turned out ok,we will get them next time for sure,better ice would have made our travel easier,having a bike at home and walking sucks.I was aching with a sore back when i got home,getting old sucks.

Hey Nocod, it was nice to meet you. I am glad you and Gord made it back unscaved. It was great to see Gord again, last time was when we went out with Bayliner about a year and a half ago. I must say Gord, there are not a lot of people you age that could get up and do what you did yesterday. That was hard walking and I hope your feeling ok today. You guys did the right bing by not going out too far as the walk back was far worse. Hope to catch you guys o. The ice again soon.

Thanks for the kind words Craig. I'm tired today but other than that feel OK, I try to keep as active as I can. As one of my best friends once said, "Never say Whoa in a wet spot."

Hi codyboy. I'm not a big fan of perch either but I just had to get out for something. Getting out is the important part, catching fish is a bonus.
