It went well Craig. The movers were gone at noon then we cleaned for the new owners. Called my lawyer just before 3 to say we locked the door for the final time. Soon after that my lawyer called me to say the funds were deposited. So, now we're officially homeless.

Craig, I believe the expression dates back to early farm days when they used horses to draw their plows etc. He did use it in a more general way to refer to life. May he RIP, he was a larger than life character. I have also seen it on an occasional truck from time to time.
