There was a video about 4 years back of a BIG hut zipping down Cooks bay like a bat out of hell. It was really motoring. That was the same wind storm that tipped over a crap load of huts off the north end of Georgina. First thing you need to do is figure out the wind direction and go THAT way. I hope you find it.

Sorry to hear about the hut.
Just wanted to say a couple weekends ago, we were in a big 4 man rental hut, with 2 of us inside, all the snow melted and the wind blew us right off the holes, couldn't see them anymore.
Last year, we had a 6 man portable pegged down close to our ice bungalow, out of nowhere the wind picked up and started popping the sides in, it took 5 of us to hold the tent in place so we could take pegs out and put it away. If it wasn't pegged, we would never of seen it again.

I had a 6x8 hut on Lake St John by the airport side and it broke its anchor and i found it on the other end of the lake not far from the island. It was missing a floor brace the anchor was attached to and a couple things fell out the holes on its trip but it was fine other than that
