Eating Muskie?, what do people think?

Very good point. I can't imagine you or anyone in this case shall dump a not-to-survive fish back into water, which might be illegal anyway.

As some of the above replies mentioned, I think if you caught a fish and you are allowed to catch and keep that particular fish, then you do have your right and freedom to eat it if you want to.

Another way to put it, if such a fish species once caught must be released, then fishing regulation/law must indicate so. Or else it might be a different topic to "argue" or talk about, that is, government fishing regulation/law is wrong! Because it failed to have the law in place to protect whatever fish species which must be protected to begin with.

Great to here everyones opinions on this. I myself believe if you want to keep a legal Muskie to eat it go a head. Where I fish for Muskie they is a very health population of them in all sizes so for me to catch one and eat it I don't find is a problem.
