Hey everyone,

I start my days off tomorrow (Mon) and was going to attempt my first outing of the year, probably Wednesday..... Initially, I was going to go to Port Bolster as I know the Ice over there is in good shape. However, Gilford is a much shorter drive and was wondering, if anyone has an update after last nights winds/rain and then snow?

Thanks much.

Rob

I agree Cooks bay will be busy this weekend for sure, but I fine the perch are more aggressive at Port Bolster and bigger. That's my opinion.

Slingshot: I fished Gilford today. A pretty consistent 5+" straight out from the road. Drilled several hole, generally the white ice was 6+", and the clear "black" ice was 5". Ice is pretty much bare now. Cleats sure helped with the walking and pulling the hut. Good luck Wed.
