Was out there as well with my son and a buddy! Big ones were off the bite but a jigging rap did the trick for the boy! He was on a roll! Caught over 50 himself! I was very proud of hom to stay out all day and just fish! He wanted to stay at 3 when we left! Awesome time fishing with your kids! Oh and he won 2 dollarts for biGgest fish pic to follow! Cheers

My son and I went out at Port Bolster today - man was it cold out there - we setup the hut and put the heater on right away - drilled a couple of holes and starting marking fish right away however they wouldn't bite until we switched to slab grabbers - unfortunately they weren't grabbing slabs though - just dink after dink - so I think I'm going to complain to the manufacturer . Apparently they did really good down at Gilford with lots of jumbos - sounds like the next stop on the itinerary......
