Decided to try it again today after a frustrating Saturday on the lake.
Got out at about 9am to first spot 8ft deep 200yrds past permanent huts ice is about 8” Temp -11 but alot colder with the wind and about 4” of fresh snow.
Fish were there but mostly small decided to move another 1km towards PB to 11ft of water started jigging and the pics will tell the rest. Flavor of the day was a large blue and silver blue fox spoon tipped with Berkley power grub.

Just drove by VB and man it's packed. There's more huts out there then there are houses in the town!! Going out Thursday for first time in quite a few years. Going to take the sled and see if my old 4 man tent can protect me from the cold at all?? Either way its going to be fun, even if I have to suck it up and rent a hut for the day.
