Pefferlaw River, Is the ice good

Egg Group: Newbies Posts: 4 Member No.: 3050 Joined: January 20, 2013	Anyone know about the ice from Quinn's to the Peninsula? Safe for snowmobiles? I noticed it was looking good before the thaw, except for under the bridge at hwy 48.

Before the thaw I was on it but it opened up pretty quick again. I would wait untill you see at least a dozen or so snowmobile tracks. I would imagine with this weather you may see tracks this weekend

Excellent point, that is why it melted so fast and stayed that way untill yesterday. I would definitely give it some time to thicken up
