Hey Sunked Again, we should just bring them all and figure out which one we prefer. My cousin is going to bring his Newfie batter and we'll bring a couple of fish crisp too. I am a fan of the Cajun one. I also make a nice one from scratch. Watch this, now we wont catch a thing. lol

I use the Cajun and Italian and mix them. Turns out amazing! And make sure you flavour the oil. I heat the oil, and add a thick slice of onion and a few strips of bacon. Oh my god I'm drooling now! Cheers!!

Fish Crisp Beer Batter, second to none. That being said we also tried the Fish Crisp Jerk one year and that was pretty good as well, a nice change. A buddy made some pickeral (or is that walleye?) fillets for us once and coated them with lemon pepper then fried in oil, very nice.
JayRay, gotta agree with you as well, the Fish Crisp Butter and Garlic solid. Tastes like pickeral popcorn

I have a simple recipe you'll enjoy. Pat fish till almost dry. Spice accordingly, salt pepper garlic powder yada yada yada. beat 3 eggs, spread italian bread crumbs on a plate. dip in egg, roll in bread crumbs, drop it into 350 degree oil. cook till golden. Tough to beat & simple.

Looks like we will be bringing a couple of different Fish Crisp flavours with us along with some homemade recipes too. All we need is some fish to have our very own taste test. We will report back with the results.

I prefer my walleye and perch pan fried but as an alternative. Foil pack on the BBQ with some lemon works well to if your doc doesn't want you to eat fried stuff. Or you can ignore Doc and eat them fried. I suggest the latter.
