I know they work for perch , I'm going to try them for lake trout and white fish I have a couple of the 3" size but will have to weigh it down to get it down deep,

Usually use them for perch.For whities and lakers use the williams 1/2 and 1/2,swammer,larger jigging rap,tubes etc.good luck
