West Side/ IBP, Ice Test

Alevin Group: Newbies Posts: 15 Member No.: 2583 Joined: January 06, 2013	HI ... I tested the ice at 5:00 pm Wednesday night at 3 spots on the west side... Here are the results. 4th Line ... 10 yards out from shore .... 4 1/2 " 30 - 40 yards .... 3 1/2 " not quite safe yet 6th Line ... 30 yards out .... 4 " 50 yards out .... 1 1/2 " not safe one person fishing about 200 - 300 yards out ... IBP ( 8th Line ) ... 15 yards out 2 1/2 " I didn't spud any further, not safe ... Lots of cracks Shore lines all looked good ....
